Ingredients

  • 1 ltr Chicken Stock
  • 6 oz Lentils
  • 1 oz Butter
  • 4 Carrots (Chopped)
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • 10 Cardimon Seeds (Ground)
  • Croutons
  • Pouring Cream

Method

  1. In a pan, melt the butter.
  2. Add the chopped onions, lentils and stock.
  3. After letting the mixture simmer for a few minutes, add the chopped carrots and cardimon seeds.
  4. Cook, while stirring occasionally, until tender.
  5. Pour into a blender and blend until smooth.
  6. Serve hot.
  7. To finish, garnish with some chopped parsley, croutons and pouring cream.
