Carrot & Cardimon Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ltr Chicken Stock
- 6 oz Lentils
- 1 oz Butter
- 4 Carrots (Chopped)
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 10 Cardimon Seeds (Ground)
- Croutons
- Pouring Cream
Method
- In a pan, melt the butter.
- Add the chopped onions, lentils and stock.
- After letting the mixture simmer for a few minutes, add the chopped carrots and cardimon seeds.
- Cook, while stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Pour into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve hot.
- To finish, garnish with some chopped parsley, croutons and pouring cream.
