Ulster Pork And Bacon Stovies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Potatoes
- 4 oz Shredded Spring Green Cabbage
- 8 Pork Sausages
- 8 Bacon Rashers
- 2 Onions
- Nutmeg
Method
- Roll the sausages with the bacon and fasten with a cocktail stick.
- Boil the remainder of the ingredients until softened.
- Fry the pork sausages until golden brown.
- Add the sausages and the juices from the pan to the stew.
- Cook for about 40 minutes.
- Serve in a large bowl with crusty bread.
