Pork Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 lb Pork Pieces
- 1/4 lb Mushrooms (Sliced)
- 8 oz Breadcrumbs
- 2 oz Butter
- 1 tbl Brown Sugar
- 1 packet Pork Sauce Mix
- 1 cup Red Wine
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 1 Green Pepper (Sliced)
- 1 Red Pepper (Sliced)
- 1 Cooking Apple (Sliced)
Method
- Take a casserole dish and add the pork pieces, mushrooms, chopped onion, sliced green pepper, sliced red pepper, red wine and pork sauce mix.
- Cover the casserole.
- For the topping combine the butter and breadcrumbs in a mixing bowl.
- Layer the sliced cooking apple over the pork and sprinkle with sugar.
- Cover with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place in an oven preheated to 300° until pork is tender.
