Ingredients

  • 2 lb Pork Pieces
  • 1/4 lb Mushrooms (Sliced)
  • 8 oz Breadcrumbs
  • 2 oz Butter
  • 1 tbl Brown Sugar
  • 1 packet Pork Sauce Mix
  • 1 cup Red Wine
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • 1 Green Pepper (Sliced)
  • 1 Red Pepper (Sliced)
  • 1 Cooking Apple (Sliced)

Method

  1. Take a casserole dish and add the pork pieces, mushrooms, chopped onion, sliced green pepper, sliced red pepper, red wine and pork sauce mix.
  2. Cover the casserole.
  3. For the topping combine the butter and breadcrumbs in a mixing bowl.
  4. Layer the sliced cooking apple over the pork and sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Cover with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place in an oven preheated to 300° until pork is tender.
