Piquant Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb Pork Pieces
- 2 tbl Lemon Juice
- 1 tbl Brown Sugar
- 1 tbl Vegetable Oil
- 1 tbl Worchestershire Suace
- 2 tsp Tomato Puree
- 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
- 1/2 pt Water
Method
- Fry the pork for about 6 minutes per side.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and gently cook the onions until light brown.
- Stir sugar, tomato puree, mustard and beef stock cube into cooked onion.
- Mix together well, then add water and bring to the boil.
- Stir in the Worchestershire Sauce and lemon juice.
- Season to taste.
- Put into an ovenproof dish and pour over sauce.
- Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
