Piquant Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork Pieces
  • 2 tbl Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbl Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbl Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tbl Worchestershire Suace
  • 2 tsp Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 pt Water

Method

  1. Fry the pork for about 6 minutes per side.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and gently cook the onions until light brown.
  3. Stir sugar, tomato puree, mustard and beef stock cube into cooked onion.
  4. Mix together well, then add water and bring to the boil.
  5. Stir in the Worchestershire Sauce and lemon juice.
  6. Season to taste.
  7. Put into an ovenproof dish and pour over sauce.
  8. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
