Ginger Spiced Pork Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Pork Pieces
- 14 oz Tomatoes
- 4 oz Button Mushroom
- 1 oz Pork Dripping
- 1 oz Flour
- 2 tbl Vinegar
- 2 tbl Sugar
- 1 tbl Worchestershire Sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Tobasco Sauce
- 2 Garlic Cloves (Chopped)
- 1 Bay Leaf
Method
- Take a large mixing bowl and combine the seasoning, flour and ginger.
- Then toss the pork pieces in the flour mix.
- Put the pork dripping in a pan and fry the pork pieces until brown.
- Transfer into a casserole dish.
- Using another mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes, Worchestershire sauce, vinegar, bay leaf, tabasco sauce, button mushrooms, sugar and garlic.
- Pour over the meat in the casserole.
- Cover and place in an oven.
- Cook for 2 hours at 325°.
- Once cooked, remove the bay leaf.
- Serve with rice and vegetables.
