Braised Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops
- 8 oz Tomatoes (Chopped)
- 1 oz Butter
- 2 tbl Flour
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
- 4 Potatoes (Chopped)
- 2 Celery Sticks (Chopped)
- Seasoning
Method
- Toss the pork chops in seasoned flour.
- Fry in butter until the pork chops are brown on each side, then transfer to a plate.
- Add the onion to the pan with the rest of the butter and fry until golden.
- Cover the base of an ovenproof dish with sliced potato.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan while stirring.
- Pour the mixture over the potatoes.
- Then arrange the pork chops on top.
- Cover the dish.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 350° for about an hour.
