Braised Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 Pork Chops
  • 8 oz Tomatoes (Chopped)
  • 1 oz Butter
  • 2 tbl Flour
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
  • 4 Potatoes (Chopped)
  • 2 Celery Sticks (Chopped)
  • Seasoning

Method

  1. Toss the pork chops in seasoned flour.
  2. Fry in butter until the pork chops are brown on each side, then transfer to a plate.
  3. Add the onion to the pan with the rest of the butter and fry until golden.
  4. Cover the base of an ovenproof dish with sliced potato.
  5. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan while stirring.
  6. Pour the mixture over the potatoes.
  7. Then arrange the pork chops on top.
  8. Cover the dish.
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 350° for about an hour.
