Pampered Lamb Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Leg Of Lamb Chops
- 3 oz Mushrooms
- 2 oz Butter
- 1/4 pt Water
- 1/4 pt Red Wine
- 2 tbl Parsley (Chopped)
- 4 tsp Cornflour
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- Seasoning
Method
- Take a saucepan, add 1 oz of butter and the lamb chops.
- Brown the lamb chops on both sides.
- Lift off the pan and place on squares of foil on an ovenproof dish.
- Make the sauce by frying the onions and mushrooms in the rest of the butter.
- Add the red wine, water and seasoning. Stir in the cornstarch until thickened.
- Spoon about 2 tbl of sauce over each lamb chop.
- Add a whole mushroom to the top of each lamb chop.
- Seal with foil.
- Cook in an oven preheated to 350° for about 45 minutes.
