Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean Lamb
  • 14 oz Tinned Tomatoes
  • 2 tbl Madras Curry Powder
  • 1 tbl Oil
  • 1 tbl Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 Garlic Clove (Crushed)
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • Seasoning

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a large an and brown the lamb and onions.
  2. Add the crushed garlic and madras curry powder, stirring well.
  3. Blend in the tomatoes and tomato puree.
  4. Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Just before serving stir in the lemon juice and seasoning.
  6. Best served with poppadoms, rice and chutney.
