Lamb Roghan Josh Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb Lean Lamb
- 14 oz Tinned Tomatoes
- 2 tbl Madras Curry Powder
- 1 tbl Oil
- 1 tbl Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Tomato Puree
- 1 Garlic Clove (Crushed)
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- Seasoning
Method
- Heat the oil in a large an and brown the lamb and onions.
- Add the crushed garlic and madras curry powder, stirring well.
- Blend in the tomatoes and tomato puree.
- Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 1 1/2 hours.
- Just before serving stir in the lemon juice and seasoning.
- Best served with poppadoms, rice and chutney.
