Lamb Provencale Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb Lamb (Cubed)
- 1/2 pt Dry White Wine
- 14 oz Tinned Tomatoes
- 4 oz Mushrooms (Sliced)
- 2 oz Butter
- 1 tbl Oil
- 1 tbl Tomato Puree
- 1/2 tsp Mixed Herbs
- 2 Onions (Chopped)
- 1 Garlic Clove (Crushed)
- 1 Green pepper (Sliced)
- Seasoning
Method
- Take a frying pan and melt the butter with the oil.
- Fry the onions and garlic until brown.
- Stir in the tinned tomatoes, white wine and tomato puree.
- Add the lamb cubes, cover the pan and let simmer for 25 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and sliced green pepper and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Add the the mixed herbs and seasoning while stirring before serving.
