Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lamb (Cubed)
  • 1/2 pt Dry White Wine
  • 14 oz Tinned Tomatoes
  • 4 oz Mushrooms (Sliced)
  • 2 oz Butter
  • 1 tbl Oil
  • 1 tbl Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 2 Onions (Chopped)
  • 1 Garlic Clove (Crushed)
  • 1 Green pepper (Sliced)
  • Seasoning

Method

  1. Take a frying pan and melt the butter with the oil.
  2. Fry the onions and garlic until brown.
  3. Stir in the tinned tomatoes, white wine and tomato puree.
  4. Add the lamb cubes, cover the pan and let simmer for 25 minutes.
  5. Add the mushrooms and sliced green pepper and cook for another 15 minutes.
  6. Add the the mixed herbs and seasoning while stirring before serving.
