Lamb Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 Lamb Chops
- 6 oz Mushrooms
- 1 1/2 oz Butter
- 2 tbl Red Currant Jelly
- 1 1/2 tbl Lemon Juice
- 2 tbl Flour
- 1 tbl Worchester Sauce
- 1/4 pt Meat Stock
- Nutmeg
Method
- Fry the lamb chops in a frying pan with some butter until brown on both sides.
- Put the lamb chops into a casserole and place the mushrooms on top.
- Take a saucepan and combine the red currant jelly, Worchester sauce and lemon juice.
- Stir in a dash of mutmeg and seasoning.
- Melt the rest of the butter.
- Blend the butter, flour, stock and mixture from saucepan.
- Pout the sauce over the lamb chops.
- Cook in an oven preheated to 270° for about 1 1/2 hours.
