Salmon & Asparagus Pie Recipe
Mixture Ingredients
- 1 lb Salmon
- 3 oz Breadcrumbs
- 2 oz Butter
- 1 tin Asparagus Tips (Chopped)
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 oz Flour
- 2 oz Butter
- 1 pt Milk
- 2 tbl Sherry
- Seasoning
Method
- Poach the salmon and flake.
- In a saucepan over a steady heat, combine the flour, butter, milk and sherry.
- Season the sauce to taste while stirring.
- Lay the asparagus over the bottom of an ovenproof dish.
- Layer the salmon flakes over the top of the asparagus.
- Now pour the white sauce over the salmon.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and combine with the breadcrumbs.
- Sprinkle the breadcrums mix over the white sauce.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake until brown.
