Panned Trout With Bacon Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 medium Trout
- 2 rashers Bacon (Chopped)
- 2 stalks Celery (Chopped)
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 1 Carrot (Chopped)
- 1/2 Green Pepper (Chopped)
- 1/4 pt White Wine
Method
- Fry the chopped bacon in a frying pan until brown.
- Then add the chopped vegetables and cook until softened.
- Wash and dry the trout, then place over the vegetables.
- Add a cup of white wine, then cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes.
- Serve on a heated dish.
- Spoon the cooked vegetables and sauces over the trout.
- Season with freshly ground black pepper and salt.
- Garnish with lemon slices.
