Fish Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 oz Prawns
- 2 oz Butter
- 2 oz Flour
- 2 Cheese
- 1/4 pt White Water
- 2 tbl Crème Fraiche
- 1 tbl parsley
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 Fish Stock Cube
Method
- Poach the fish for about 5 minutes in the white wine, fish stock and bay leaf.
- Strain the fish reserving the liquid.
- Melt the butter with flour and cook for about 2 minutes, then add the fish liquid and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and then whisk in the crème fraiche.
- Pour into a pie dish, and put on the sliced potatoes and cheese.
- Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes.
