Fish Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb White Fish
- 1 oz Butter
- 1/2 pt Hot Water
- 1/4 pt Milk
- 1 tbl Parsley (Chopped)
- 1 can Tomatoes (Chopped)
- 2 Garlic Cloves (Crushed)
- 1 Onion (Diced)
- 1 sachet Bouquet Garni
- Seasoning
Method
- Cut the white fish into even pieces.
- Melt the butter and sweat the onion, potatoes and crushed garlic for about 5 minutes.
- Add the can of chopped tomatoes, seasoning, hot water and bouquet garni.
- Bring to the boil and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Add the fish pieces and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Add the milk and stir, lowering the heat.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Serve with fresh bread.
