Cod Barrie Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Cod Steaks
- 4 oz Prawns
- 3 oz Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
- 1/2 pt White Coating Sauce
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- Seasoned Flour
- Lemon Slices
- Seasoning
Method
- Toss the cod steaks in seasoned flour and place in an ovenproof dish.
- Make up a white sauce.
- Remove from heat and stir in about 50g of grated cheddar cheese.
- Stir in the chopped onion and prawns.
- Pour over the fish and sprinkle with some more grated cheese.
- Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes.
- Garnish with lemon slices.
