Oat Cakes
Ingredients
- 2 lb Potatoes
- 10 fl oz Water
- 6 oz Oatmeal
- 2 oz Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
Method
- Mix the flour and salt together.
- Slowly add the warm water.
- Roll out the mixture on a floured board and knead until 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut into triangles.
- Cook on a pan or griddle until golden on both sides.
- Dry out in a cool oven at 150C/300F until crisp - eat with butter.
