Chocolate Brownies Recipe
Mixture Ingredients
- 8 oz Sugar
- 6 oz Chocolate (Chopped)
- 5 oz Flour
- 5 oz Butter (Softened)
- 3 oz Walnuts (Chopped)
- 3 oz Hazelnuts (Chopped)
- 1/2 oz Vanilla Sugar
- 2 Eggs (Beaten)
Topping Ingredients
- 4 oz Nut Nougat
- Walnuts (Chopped)
Method
- In a saucepan over a medium heat, combine the butter and chocolate while stirring.
- Add the sugar, salt, beaten eggs and vanilla sugar while stirring continuously.
- Sift in the flour and drop in the nuts, again stirring until mixed.
- Spread the smooth mixture into a greased 9“ baking tin.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for about 45 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and slice into squares.
- Put the nut nougat in a bowl and melt over a saucepan of hot water.
- Drop a spoonful of melted nougat on each chocolate brownie.
- Finish off with a scattering of walnuts.
