Double Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 2-1/4 cups Flour
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 3/4 cup Butter (Softened)
- 1/2 cup White Sugar
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Demerera Sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Egg (Beaten)
Method
- Take 1 cup of chocolate chips and melt gently in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water.
- Sift the flour into a separate bowl.
- While stirring, gradually add 1-1/4 cup of chocolate chips.
- Stile stirring, add the milk, demerera sugar, white sugar, baking powder, beaten egg, butter, salt, baking powder, vanilla extract and melted chocolate chips.
- Make sure to mix well until it thickens nicely.
- Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate chip mix onto a greased baking sheet.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake until brown.
- Remove from heat to cool on a wire rack.
