Double Chocolate Biscotti Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cup Flour
- 1 cup Chocolate (Chopped)
- 1 cup Demerera Sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
- 3 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Eggs (Beaten)
- 1 Egg White
Method
- Combine the baking powder, flour, salt, cocoa powder and cinnamon thoroughly in a bowl.
- Take another mixing bowl and combine the beaten eggs, egg yolk, balsamic vinegar, milk, demerera sugar and olive oil.
- Sift the flour mix into the egg mixture gradually while stirring.
- Gently fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.
- Cover the bowl with film and place in a fridge overnight.
- Now scoop the mixture out and onto a floured bowl and split in half.
- Roll both halves out to a foot-long roll.
- Put both rolls onto a greased baking sheet.
- Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 30 minutes.
- After baking, cut into thick slices.
Put back into the oven for another 10 minutes.
