Double Chocolate Biscotti Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Chocolate (Chopped)
  • 1 cup Demerera Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 Egg White

Method

  1. Combine the baking powder, flour, salt, cocoa powder and cinnamon thoroughly in a bowl.
  2. Take another mixing bowl and combine the beaten eggs, egg yolk, balsamic vinegar, milk, demerera sugar and olive oil.
  3. Sift the flour mix into the egg mixture gradually while stirring.
  4. Gently fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.
  5. Cover the bowl with film and place in a fridge overnight.
  6. Now scoop the mixture out and onto a floured bowl and split in half.
  7. Roll both halves out to a foot-long roll.
  8. Put both rolls onto a greased baking sheet.
  9. Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for 30 minutes.
  10. After baking, cut into thick slices.
  11. Put back into the oven for another 10 minutes.
