Sour Cream Baked Chicken Breasts Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 Chicken Breasts (Skinned / Boned)
- 2 cup Sour Cream
- 1 3/4 cup Dry Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cup Shortening
- 1/2 cup Butter (Melted)
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 4 tsp Salt
- 4 tsp Celery Salt
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 4 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
Method
- Cut the chicken breasts in half, set aside and let them dry.
- Take a large mixing bowl and combine the lemon juice, worchestershire sauce, sour cream, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
- Using the mixture, coat each piece of chicken.
- Cover the chicken and refrigerate overnight.
- Spread the bread crumbs out on a flat surface.
- Now roll the chicken breasts and cover in bread crumbs.
- Place the chicken breasts on a baking tray.
- Drizzle the chicken with the melted butter and shortening.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 350° for about 45 minutes.
