Cheddar Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Breasts
- 1/4 lb Mushrooms
- 14 oz Tinned Tomatoes
- 2 tbl Mango Chutney
- 1 tbl Tomato Puree
- 1 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Tumeric
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Garlic Granules
- 2 Chicken Stock Cubes
- 2 Onions (Chopped)
- 1 Cooking Apple (Chopped)
- Red / Green Pepper
Method
- Brown the chicken breasts in a pan with a little oil.
- Fry the onion and mushrooms.
- Add the fried onions and mushrooms to the chicken.
- Dissolve the chicken stock cubes in hot water and add to the chicken.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Cover the pan and cook over a gentle heat for about an hour.
- Just before the serving sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
- May be served with rice or pasta.
