Mixture Ingredients

  • 8 fl oz Milk
  • 2 oz Caster Sugar
  • 2 oz Butter (Softened)
  • 2 oz Flour
  • 1 oz Yeast
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Topping Ingredients

  • 9 oz Butter (Softened)
  • 7 oz Hazelnuts (Chopped)
  • 6 oz Caster Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the yeast and tsp of sugar. Set aside.
  2. Take another bowl and mix together the sugar, butter and flour.
  3. Mix in the yeast mixture while stirring.
  4. Knead to a dough and leave to rise.
  5. Put onto a greased baking sheet and leave to rise for 45 minutes.
  6. For the top, combine the butter, hazelnuts, sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Spread the mixture over the dough.
  8. Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for about 30 minutes or until brown.
