Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups Unbleached Flour
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/8 cup Warm Ale
  • 1 tsp Seeds (Crushed)
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs (Beaten)

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the salt and flours.
  2. In another bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm ale and beat in the eggs and seeds.
  3. Mix in the flour and butter.
  4. Then add the milk while mixing until smooth.
  5. Pour into an 8“ round cake pan.
  6. Place in an oven preheated to 350 F and bake for about 45 minutes.
