Gingerbread Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz Flour
- 4 oz Caster Sugar
- 4 oz Margarine
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tbl Syrup
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (Ground)
- 1 tsp Ginger (Ground)
- 1 tsp Mixed Spices
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Egg (Beaten)
- 1 pinch Salt
Method
- Put the flour, caster sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and mixed spices into a bowl.
- Melt the butter in a pan, add the milk and syrup then stir well.
- Take a mixing bowl and combine the egg with baking soda.
- Combine the mixtures and stir well.
- Pour into a greased tin.
- Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes.
