Mexican Beef Burritos Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean Beef (Minced)
  • 2 oz Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
  • 4 tbl Tomato Puree
  • 1 tin Salsa Sauce
  • 1 pack Flour Tortillas
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • 1 Red Pepper (Chopped)
  • 1 Green Pepper (Chopped)

Method

  1. Place the minced beef in a frying pan (without oil) and fry until browned.
  2. Add the peppers and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the tomato puree and salsa sauce.
  4. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Prepare the tortillas.
  6. Pour the beef mixture into a tortilla.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Serve hot with a side salad.
